ICON LASIK Tour of the Moon

ICON LASIK Tour of the Moon Bike ride Colorado National Monument
ICON LASIK and Rocky Mountain Events (the same team behind the Colorado favorite Elephant Rock ride) are excited to announce the inaugural ICON LASIK Tour of the Moon. The ICON LASIK Tour of the Moon is set for October 6th, 2012.

The ICON LASIK Tour of the Moon route was one of the signature components of the Coors Classic during the 1970s and 1980s. The route starts in Grand Junction and then goes up and through the Colorado National Monument.

For cyclist that have yet to ride in the Colorado National Monument this is your chance to experience incredible scenery along with great ride support.

Two Distances - 41 or 62 miles

The ICON LASIK Tour of the Moon features two distances of 41 or 62 miles. The 62 mile route heads out through Fruita and then into Colorado National Monument. This is a great time of year to ride on the western slope. The weather tends to be a bit warmer than in Denver and is usually drier.
