Once we knew I could continue with the procedure, we decided to have my surgery the same day. Hall of Fame football player John Elway was having his eye surgery just before mine. Since I brought my video camera, we decided to film John's procedure. The staff was very professional and efficient. They maintained a soothing atmosphere throughout the entire procedure.
After John Elway was finished it was my turn to have my life changed forever. I was very surprised that the procedure was painless and so quick. The minute I sat up in the chair, I looked at the clock on the wall, and to my amazement I could read what time it was!
