"As a Professional Snowboarder, my vision can be the difference between a visit to the podium, or a visit to the emergency room. On countless occasions, I have dealt with dislodged contact lenses disrupting my ability to perform. I even tore my ACL in a snowboarding crash after dislodging a contact lens. Getting Lasik, to improve my state of life, and my performance, is something I wish I would have done years ago.

The crew at Icon made my visit very comfortable and easy. They took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. Dr. Anderson made sure I was a good candidate for Lasik with a complete pre-exam visit. Dr. Christianson and the surgery team was very thorough, taking the time to explain what was going on, and spoke with me at all times during the procedure. Before the procedure, I was nervous, but the surgery team was so calm and communicative, that it was over very quick. Painless too.

Now, I wake up every morning in a good mood, because I don't have to put my contacts in! It was momentous to throw my contact supplies in the trash. It's still hard to believe how easy it was, and how great my vision is!

My post-op visits have also been very pleasant. Icon makes it easy to come in on my time frame and does a complete job making sure my eyes are healthy. I appreciate Icon's great work and recommend Icon to my family and friends.
